Rob Scharff interviewed by NRC about his PhD on Soft Robotics
Rob focussed on the development of a soft robotic hand for use in fruit picking tasks. He combined novel pneumatic actuators with light sensing to allow for precise and gentle gripping of a variety of different objects.
